Our Process

  1. Initial Meeting – The initial meeting will entail meeting with you and determining what you are looking to get done in regards to your project. In this initial meeting we will discuss your vision, timeline and budget. This is also the time to ask as many questions as you want about us. A remodeling project can take quite a while and it is important that you and your contractor have established a good communication relationship.
  2. Planning and Budgeting - If you do not have a budget in mind, we will be happy to provide you a detailed line item budget for your project. The budget will be based on the initial meeting. We will choose a certain level of materials for the budget and explain them to you.  This will also be the time to discuss permitting, which can be tricky, but our experience can help guide you through the process.
  3. Construction Consultation – Prior to the actual beginning of the project, we will come out to your home and go through one final discussion on what you should expect in  regards to work hours, the order of tasks to be completed and most importantly, you will have a chance to tell us if there are certain times you would like us to work around. Many remodeling projects can be very disruptive to those living in the work zone, so we will try to always be aware of your concerns and encourage our clients to tell us if they need anything from us at any point during the process.
  4. Construction – The start of any construction project can be pretty daunting – hammering, demolition, etc – so we will always do out best to minimize the disruption. As we work through the construction process, there may be times when unforeseen conditions may arise. Once they do, we will immediately contact you to discuss the options. We will answer any concerns you have and work to a resolution.
  5. Completion of Project – We encourage our clients to be involved throughout the construction process. At the end of the project, we will do final walk through and address any concerns you have. Once this final walk through is completed and any unresolved issues are addressed, we hope you take the time to enjoy your new addition, bathroom, kitchen, etc. We also want you to be completely happy after you sign off and send in that final payment, so if you have any questions after we have moved on from your project – please let us know.
